Hello People!!

Hello!
School has been ok . . . . . . . . . except for the fact that P.E. has started. I do not like P.E. We run, shoot hoops, play wallball and play really weird games. I like Art a LOT better than I like P.E. and I wish that I could have Band and Art all year except for Band the whole year, Art half the year, and P.E. the other half of the year. Off the subject of school. . . . . . I have a really small bathroom that connects to my room. All it has is a toilet and a stand up shower. The shower door would never close all the way because there was no magnet in the door handle. Because of that, water would get outside of the shower and it was ruining the floor. Today both the floor and the door handle got fixed!!!!! That mean tomorrow I can test out my shower again since we haven't been using it for a few months! (Since the water was getting outside of the shower, our ceiling downstairs was getting squishy under the spot where my shower was, so that if you pushed it, your finger would leave a mark.) So, we didn't use that shower once it started to damage our ceiling. So. . today had some benefits. What happened to me this weekend. . . well. . for starters, I fell off the horse I was riding during my lessons on Sunday. We were riding in the rain and I was riding a pony named Rebel. I was trotting without my stirrups like I was supposed to be doing, and Rebel spooked and jumped to the side. When she did that I was so surprised that I fell off. . . . . . . . into a huge pile of mud. My back and my legs were covered in mud and I got very dirty. After my fall I got right back on Rebel and started trotting again, this time with my feet in the stirrups. After I got home I could laugh about it and say how funny it was! I didn't get hurt, so it WAS funny afterwards!! I hope all of you guys had a great weekend!
See you!

5 Day Weekend!

Hello!
This week I have a five day weekend because of parent teacher conferences. Today I get to have a conference with all three of my teachers. They already sent out report cards so I know that I got good grades so I'm not really worried about anything. For school I have been reading a book called Farewell to Manzanar by Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston & James D. Houston. It's about Japanese Americans during World War II and how they were treated during that time. It's interesting. After my conference I will be going to spend some time with my dad while my mom goes to work. I'm also reading Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring for the first time. I like it. I read The Hobbit a few years ago and thought that was good so I thought I would read the Lord of the Rings too! This weekend I'm going to go to my grandpa's, and my great-grandpa's house for their birthday's. My grandpa's birthday was Jan. 24 and my great-grandpa's birthday is today! I've got to go to my conferences now!

Sunday Stuff with a Picture!!

Hi!
Tonight we have been watching the football game, even though my dad isn't a big football fan. He's excited to watch and see if the Seahawks will win. My aunt and her children came over to watch it with us too. I had horse back riding today. I rode one of the ponies named Rebel. We went on a trail ride and trotted for most of it. It was a lot of fun!!!! Rebel is brown with a black mane, she is big for a pony, and she is fluffy and furry. She's a sweet, good little girl. Nothing especially exciting other than those events happened today. I hope your day was exciting!!

P.S.-The picture is of 2 donkeys that live with my dad's friend Kevin. For New Year's this year, we went to Kevins house and I took a lot of pictures of Kevin's animals. This is just an experiment to see if how I downloaded the picture works. I will change this entry if it didn't. The donkey's names are Tiki and Al. I think Tiki is the one to the left and Al is the one of the right.

Saturday at my dad's. . . .

Hello!
It's just another normal Saturday. I finished Eragon though!! IT WAS SOOOO GOOD!!!! Now I really want to read the sequal, Eldist. If they have it at the library I'm going to check it out, but at my school library they don't have it. Last night I went to my grandma's house with my aunt and uncles and my cousins. One of my aunts recently had a baby girl named Isabel and last night I spent a lot of the time holding her and walking around with her. It was REALLY fun!! She was really sweet and cute and she didn't fuss until after I had been holding her for about an hour. (Maybe a little bit more, maybe a little bit less.) I had a lot of fun!! I hope I can do that again sometime. My dad still likes talking about his Italy trip and has memorized where each picture was taken and he has favorite pictures too! It's cool to hear him talk about pictures and the history of the monument and things like that. I'm starting to figure out how to download pictures, so soon I'll put some on my blog.
Talk to you all later!!

At my Dad's!!

Hi!
I'm at my dad's for the first time in about 2 weeks so I'm really excited! I've seen a lot of the pictures that he took of Italy and they are all really cool! He spent some time in Rome, Sienna, and some other cities that are out in the country part of Italy. He took some great shots of different parts and places in Italy. He took pictures of vinyards, cool stores, historical monuments, and all other kinds of things. Some of the pictures are SOO cool!! He also took pictures of some Italian cats that he and his friend saw on the street. I read a chapter of David Copperfield at school today. It was really short, not even ten pages, so it was easy to finish while at school. Today is one of my friends birthdays so I just wanted to say happy birthday to her. . . . . HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!! It's weird, because on my dad's computer there isn't any options for color and italics and stuff like that, so this will just have to stay black for once. That way I can see what it looks like on my blog!! I hope everyone has a nice day!

Sunday Stuff. . . . . .

Hello!
Today was a great day and it didn't rain that I know about!! While I was horse back riding, we all saw two bald eagles sitting in a tree. It was really cool!! Tonight I watched the movie The Place Promised in Our Early Days. I really liked it. I had seen it before, so I knew what happened, but I still thought it was really good. It's a japenese anime movie. It's based on 2 boys and 1 girl. The girl ends up in a sleep that no one can wake her up from. They find out that her sleep is connected to the union tower. As long as she stays asleep, the tower will not wake up and explode. I like weird movies like that sometimes.
I've got to go to bed.

Friday the 13th!

Hello!
Today is Friday the 13th and a lot of people at my school kept on bringing it up. My cousin made a comment about how it's supposed to be an unlucky day and today had been one of the best days ever! I found that kind of funny personally. I did nothing special at school today. Today I'm going to be home alone from 2:50 to around 9:30 with should be REALLY fun!! At the moment it's only 5:50 and I'm still entertaining myself just fine! I read a few more pages into Eragon, and it keeps on reminding me a little bit of The Lord of the Rings. Did anyone else get that impression? It's a very good book so far though. In my spare time I am also reading David Copperfield, because my dad told my sisters and I that we couldn't watch the movie until I finished reading the book. I have about 600 more pages to go before I finish it. I won't be finished reading it for a very long time. It's also a good book. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for books that you think I should read? I hope Friday the 13th didn't result in bad consequences for you guys!
Talk to you Later!

My Second Book Review!

Hey!
I have decided to do another book review. This time I will be doing a book review on a book called Wild Magic by Tamora Pierce. I hope you enjoy it!!
Wild Magic By, Tamora Pierce
This book is a fantasy book written by Tamora Pierce. It is the first book in a quartet called The Immortals. It is in a series that I like to call the Tortall series because I don't know what it's really called. There is a quartet before this quartet, but I like this quartet better. This book is about a character named Veralidaine Sarrasri, but she goes by Daine. She ran away from her home town and runs into a woman named Onua who hires her on as she takes an entourage of horses to Tortall. On the way there, they run into a crow who is really a man named Numair Salmalin. When they arrive in Tortall, people start to insist that Daine has a special kind of magic called Wild magic. It is a special kind of magic where you have a special gift that connects you to animals in special ways. What will Daine do with her gift? Will she let her new animal friends help fight in a great battle? Read this book to find out!!
I hope that wasn't a bad review. I don't think this review does REAL justice to the book, but maybe it will get you interested in it enough that you will read it!!
Talk to you Later!!!

Another Entry. . . . .

Hey!
I finished another book today!! I had read it once before but I think I liked it this time more than I liked it the last time. The book was called Summers at Castle Auburn. I'm not going to do a book review on it now, by I probably will later. If you like fantasy I would suggest reading this book. Read more about this book in my future review! I also finished a book called Wolf Star By, Tanith Lee. That book is really good too!! I can't really tell which one of those two books I like better. They are both just too good!!
I've got to go!

It's Me Again!

Hey!
After a great weekend with my mom, I had to go back to school. I go to a weird school with only 5th and 6th graders. My school day was ok, but it continued to rain all day. It's still pouring outside and it started raining REALLY early this morning. By REALLY early, I mean around 6:00 a.m. this morning. It gets really annoying when it rains this much. I'm not really an outside girl, but I don't like to see it rain non-stop for days and days either. I hope the weekend was enjoyable for you too!!!! -Kaminsky

First Book Review!!

Hey Everyone!!
I just wanted to do a book review because I have nothing else to do, also, I just finished a book today, so it's perfect timing!! I would like to tell you about Mediator Book 6 by Meg Cabot. Don't read the review if you plan on reading this series and haven't read 1-5 yet.
Mediator #6 By-Meg Cabot
This book is the 6th in a series written by the Princess Diaries author Meg Cabot. In this book, Suze has been threatened by a fellow mediator ( a person who can talk to ghosts, time travel, go between worlds and so on,) that instead of KILLING her ghost boyfriend, he will make it so that he never died instead. . which means that Suze and her boyfriend ghost Jesse, would never have met. So what will Suze do. Will she let Jesse be killed in the past, or will she warn Jesse of the past and keep him from dying? Read to find out. -Kaminsky
There's my review. Today at horse back riding it did start raining, about 5 minutes before we were done though. I'm not sure if it's still raining or not.
Have a nice day everyone!!

Just Saying Hi!

Hey everyone!
I just wanted to say hi and to say that the day here in Washington might be a lucky day because it looks like it might not rain! I have horse back riding later, so I hope the weather stays nice! We've been getting so much rain lately, one of my sisters keeps on saying things like is it possible to get a flood here, and look how deep that water is and stuff like that. I hope this stuff isn't boring you. . .I should probably stop saying that.
Bye! -Kaminsky
