Vacation Week

Hello!
This week is a vacation week for my sister's and I. This week my mom has no work so we are just doing fun stuff all week.
Yesterday we went to a park with a beach and hung out their for a while before going to the mall to look for summer clothes for me and work clothes for my mom. We didn't find anything that we were looking for because my mom and I were planning on looking for shorts at Gap and they were closed for remodeling. Also, when we were looking for tank tops for me, all of them were either too low or too tight. I was also planning on getting a few books but they didn't have any bookstores in the mall. So, it wasn't a very successful trip.
Today we went to Wild Waves for 7 1/2 hours. It was fun and I didn't really get burnt. My face is a little bit red though. I'm hoping that being in the sun for that long will help my hair become lighter and more blond so that when I cut off my hair for locks of love my hair won't be all brown.
That's another thing, sometime during July, (early July hopefully) I will be cutting off about 10 inches of my hair and donating it to locks of love. My hair is a dirty blond color, and so every summer my hair starts turning a little bit blonder if it's in the sun for a long time. At the moment, the majority of my hair that is blond is the hair closest to the tips/edges of my hair. So, when I cut it off, the blond goes with it. Oh well.
I don't really know what else we are going to be doing for our vacation week. We might be going to a different mall tomorrow but I'm not sure. I think we are going to Marysville on Thursday to see my Great Grandpa. Other than that, I'm not sure what we will be doing.
I hope everyone is having a great summer!!!!

Father's Day

Hi!
Today I was with my dad since it was father's day, and he got to choose what we did. So, we went to Mt. Zion and climbed to the top of the mountain. It was really steep and at times I didn't feel like moving. It was nice to sit on the top and eat lunch though!! :) It was also much nicer going down than it was going up. My dad liked the present that we got him. Nothing else exciting happened. I hope everyone had a great father's day!!!!!!!!!!

SUMMER!!

Hello!
Yesterday was the last day of school for me which means that today is officially the first day of summer!! (For me anyways.) All we did was watch Madagascar and sign yearbooks. I got all 3 of my teachers to sign my yearbook, which I'm happy about. I also got a lot of my friends to sign. Overall, it was a boring last day of school. But, after school was over, all the teachers lined up and waved as the buses went by. I am proud to say that I didn't cry!!!!!
See ya!!

Skateland!

Hey!!
Today, the entire 6th grade at my school got to go to Skateland for the entire day. It was actually a lot more fun than I thought it would be. It was kind of funny though, because a few people think that my cousin and I are dating. That's only because once when I was skating, my cousin put his arm around me and I put my arm around him and we skated together for a little bit. One of my friends actually came up to me and asked if we were a couple. Other than that, today was kind of unexciting. Other than the fact that I only have 1 1/2 days of school left!! :) Tomorrow at school my classes are going to have a fun day. I hope it's fun anyway!! :) ALSO- today my sister won her softball championship game. It was very exciting to watch, and it seemed like the parents might have been more nervous/excited than the kids were. That's my exciting news!!

Pictures!

Hey!
Here are some pictures that might interest you! I hope you like them. The picture of flowers in a bowl, is a picture of a bowl of water with flowers floating on the water around the candle. My mom put it together. The other 2 pictures are just cool flower pictures!

End of School!

Hi!
In school we are finishing up a lot of things to get ready for the end of the year.
In math, we are finishing up a math book about probability and stuff like that.
In science, we just finished our unit of HEALTH, (Human Growth and Development.) It wasn't as bad as everyone thought it was going to be which was good. We talked about HIV and AIDS, we did some genetic stuff, we watched 2 movies, and we asked questions. The 2 movies that we had to watch were "Boy to Man" and "Girl to Woman." There was a lot of repetitive stuff in them. Putting our 3 classes questions together made a lot of weird questions come up that my teacher had to answer. I don't think she liked answering them, but since they weren't personal questions, she didn't have any reason to throw them out.
In Social Studies, we just finished Contemporary Issues, which I am really glad about! It's really relieveing to know that you're done, and you don't have to do anything else. I'm glad it's over with.
There is only 5 1/2 days of school left. I'm SOO excited!! This year I will be graduating from 6th grade and going onto 7th grade. Next Friday is my last day of school. I'm really excited for next week at school, because mostly I'll be having fun.

Next Monday and Tuesday are still work days for my class. But, on Tuesday we get our yearbooks and they are in color this year. Then on Wednesday, the entire 6th grade at my school is going to the Skate Land near where I live. We are going to be there the entire school day. It'll be fun, but it will probably be really crouded with over 300 students. Next Thursday I don't know what we are doing because my teacher's haven't told us anything. All they've said is that in the morning we will probably be watching a movie and we will be doing something fun in the afternoon. Then, the last day of school, that Friday, is a half day, so we will be doing fun stuff all morning.
On the last day of school, as everyone is getting on their bus, all of the teachers line up next to the buses and wave as the buses leave. The buses even go around twice so that everyone is sure to see their teacher. I just hope I don't cry, because I always feel sad on the last day of school, even if I didn't have a great year.
Today in band was the last day of the year where we have to bring in our instruments. On Monday we still have to go to band, but we are only going to be working in our rythm book. No playing. It was kind of sad, because in our music book we had to circle all of the songs we were planning to do, and we had 2 songs left to do, but A-we couldn't play them very well and B-we ran out of time to play them. I'll have to practice over the summer I guess! :)
I hope everyone else in school is starting to have their year come to a close. I'm glad summer is on it's way. That means that I can spend my time at the library, reading, and sending e-mails. Sounds perfect to me! :)
Lately, I've been going to the library a lot. At the moment I have 23 books checked out and 2 books waiting for me at the library. A couple days ago I went and picked up 12 books that I had placed on hold. I'm crazy!! ;)
See ya!!
