Anna Karenina

Wow -

I'm finally done! This morning, about 3 minutes ago, I finished reading Anna Karenina.

I thought it was a good book. I liked how it told the story of multiple characters and families all at the same time. It was interesting, and it wasn't boring unless the characters were talking about something that I only half understood, which only happened every once in awhile.

I'm happy that I'm done with it, and I'm proud of myself for reading it in such a short time compared to the time it took me to read David Copperfield. Reading books for school has it's downsides, but if it makes me read books quicker and read more books, as long as I'm not missing things, then I'm fine with that.

Yay, I'm done!

Go Click!

Hello -

Everyday, or at least as often as I remember, I will go to The Breast Cancer Site and I will click to give. Just by clicking a button, I am helping women get free mammograms. This is an easy thing to do and it doesn't take up much of your time. (If you make it a bookmark, you only have to click twice to donate for free!)

The following is the link to The Breast Cancer Website:

http://www.thebreastcancersite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=2&link=ctg_bcs_home_from_bcs_linktous_sitenav

While you are at the website, you may see tabs at the top of page entitled Hunger, Child Health, Literacy, Rainforest, and Animal Rescue. If you click on any or all of these tabs they will bring you to almost identical pages to The Breast Cancer page. This way, you can donate for free to all of these things. You'll be donating to Breast Cancer, Hunger, Child Health, Literacy, The Rainforest, and to Animal Rescue.

Thanks for clicking!

More Death

Hello -

Althea, our dog at our dad's house, has been sick lately and even started having seizures about a week ago. When my dad and my stepmom took her to the vet, they said that she had a brain tumor, and they gave her anti-seizure medicine that made her very zombie like.

Yesterday she came inside after being outside for awhile and shivered like crazy and/or had a mini seizure since she hasn't eaten anything since Friday (which means she hasn't had her medicine.) Last night my stepmom had my stepsisters come over to spend some time with Althea so that she could be put to sleep today.

See ya -
