Summer Fun!!

Hey!
This entire past week I have been at Camp!! I went to a camp called Camp Orkila on Orcas Island in the San Juans. It was really fun!! I did the horse program at Orkila, which means that I got to ride horses everyday!! Each camper in the horse program gets their "own" horse for the week. I got a white horse called Lonesome Dove. He was a good horse. He listened to you and he would easily stop and walk and do anything he asked him to do. He was a great horse!! It was really fun riding him when he was cantering because he would go really fast, and it was just plain fun!!!!!
Mostly all we did was ride, but for the part of the day that we didn't ride we had to do something else instead. One of those times we did archery and riflery. I REALLY sucked at riflery. I always thought it would hit the sheet of paper I was aiming at and then the beebee would go a foot off in some direction around the paper. I was better at archery. Even though I never got one of my arrows to stick in a target, one of my arrows hit one and then bounced off! :) Mostly, my arrows went somewhere around the target. I think I was better at aiming or something.
Another time we did team building things. For instance, one of the team building things was that there was 17 smallish pieces of logs for people to stand on. What you and everyone else had to do, was get everyone on those log things and to also make sure that every person touched every log. The tricks were that you had to be holding hands with the 2 people next to you at all times, and that all of the people had to be on the logs before the first person could get off. Also, if you fell off of a log you had to go back to the beginning and start over on that end. We had 18 people doing it so we had to share a couple of the logs. We finished it eventually though. That stuff was fun.
We did random stuff like that to pass the time while we weren't riding.
I was only at camp for a week, but I was glad when I got home. I can now sleep in a real bed, and eat real food and take real showers and just relax more. It's great!!
The night before I went to camp I got to see Pirates of the Carribean 2. I liked it! But, I also suddenly have a really big urge to force the producers to release the 3rd movie NOW!! I REALLY, REALLY want to know what's going to happen. There are so many parts of the movie that I have questions about that the 3rd movie might answer, it's insane!!

4th of July

Hey!
This year for the 4th of July I was with my dad. So, we went and watched my city's annual 4th of July parade and then we just hung around. The parade was cool and I knew some of the people that were in it, so that was cool. (Especially since a lot of the float thingys gave out candy!!) We had really weird weather though. It was really sunny during the parade, but later we were playing badmitten and it starting pouring for about 5 minutes. It was really weird. I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!!!
