Today We Went to the Zoo!

Hi!
Today we went to the Zoo! It was a lot of fun - and I took a lot of pictures.
The bummers of the zoo - today was the first day that they were going to display the baby tiger - whose name is Hadiah, which means gift. We stood in a line to see her for 1 hour, and then when we got to see her, she was asleep in the back of the exhibit. So, I didn't get a picture of her, and we didn't even really get to see her. They did have cupcakes at the end though! : )
Also, a lot of the time when I took pictures (more today than my last Zoo trip) there was a reflection in my picture from the glass.
It was weird though, because a lot of the time, the animals were either asleep or hiding. The orangutans were sleeping under these blanket things, the Sun Bear was hiding, the Sloth Bear was sleeping, the Zebras were really far away, the tiger was asleep kind of far away, and this other cat was asleep kind of far away. So, I did get pictures...but that doesn't mean that they were very good.
While we were watching the Gorilla's though, 2 of them were sitting next to each other when another gorilla ran towards them and kind of attacked them. It was interesting.
The Elephants have both an indoor and outdoor exhibit, and I got better pictures from the Elephants that were outsides than the Elephant that was inside. One Elephant was really close to us when we were outside. It was really cool.

Easter Eggs

Hello -
On the night of the 7th, we dyed Easter Eggs!!!! It was the night before Easter, and since we wouldn't have had too much time yesterday, it was the perfect time. We had gone to Target earlier that day, and we had gotten a lot of different kits for dying eggs.
One of the eggs is of Darth Vador - It's true. We got a Star Wars kit that came with a Darth Vador Mask/Hat. Sorry if it's really dark and hard to see.
Isn't the bunny cute!!
The peel thingy is the inside of a shell of an egg that I dyed. It had a crack in it, but I kept on dying it so that the inside of the egg would look cool too. That was the end product.

More Hawaii Pictures

Hello -
I'm going to be adding more Hawaii pictures to share with you guys. The picture of the whale's tail is a picture that my dad actually took - it was so cool to see whales that close!! The picture of the bird is a picture that I took because I liked taking pictures of birds... they were almost always near by and they were interesting. The picture of the island type place is the place that my family went snorkling. It's called Molokini. It was really cool!!

Broken Window

Hey -
Today in math a kid accidentily broke through one of the windows in our classroom. It was really freaky to have witnessed it. I don't think he did it on purpose, because he had a look on his face that said something between "that wasn't supposed to happen and OH MY GOD." We had to go to another teacher's classroom that wasn't in use while they cleaned the mess up.
I don't think the kid who's head went through the window was hurt, (but I don't know for sure) but one kid who sat really close got a cut on her arm and had to go to the nurse.
Overall, it was just plain freaky.
Hope you didn't have anything like that happen to you!
