End of School!

Hi!
In school we are finishing up a lot of things to get ready for the end of the year.
In math, we are finishing up a math book about probability and stuff like that.
In science, we just finished our unit of HEALTH, (Human Growth and Development.) It wasn't as bad as everyone thought it was going to be which was good. We talked about HIV and AIDS, we did some genetic stuff, we watched 2 movies, and we asked questions. The 2 movies that we had to watch were "Boy to Man" and "Girl to Woman." There was a lot of repetitive stuff in them. Putting our 3 classes questions together made a lot of weird questions come up that my teacher had to answer. I don't think she liked answering them, but since they weren't personal questions, she didn't have any reason to throw them out.
In Social Studies, we just finished Contemporary Issues, which I am really glad about! It's really relieveing to know that you're done, and you don't have to do anything else. I'm glad it's over with.
There is only 5 1/2 days of school left. I'm SOO excited!! This year I will be graduating from 6th grade and going onto 7th grade. Next Friday is my last day of school. I'm really excited for next week at school, because mostly I'll be having fun.

Next Monday and Tuesday are still work days for my class. But, on Tuesday we get our yearbooks and they are in color this year. Then on Wednesday, the entire 6th grade at my school is going to the Skate Land near where I live. We are going to be there the entire school day. It'll be fun, but it will probably be really crouded with over 300 students. Next Thursday I don't know what we are doing because my teacher's haven't told us anything. All they've said is that in the morning we will probably be watching a movie and we will be doing something fun in the afternoon. Then, the last day of school, that Friday, is a half day, so we will be doing fun stuff all morning.
On the last day of school, as everyone is getting on their bus, all of the teachers line up next to the buses and wave as the buses leave. The buses even go around twice so that everyone is sure to see their teacher. I just hope I don't cry, because I always feel sad on the last day of school, even if I didn't have a great year.
Today in band was the last day of the year where we have to bring in our instruments. On Monday we still have to go to band, but we are only going to be working in our rythm book. No playing. It was kind of sad, because in our music book we had to circle all of the songs we were planning to do, and we had 2 songs left to do, but A-we couldn't play them very well and B-we ran out of time to play them. I'll have to practice over the summer I guess! :)
I hope everyone else in school is starting to have their year come to a close. I'm glad summer is on it's way. That means that I can spend my time at the library, reading, and sending e-mails. Sounds perfect to me! :)
Lately, I've been going to the library a lot. At the moment I have 23 books checked out and 2 books waiting for me at the library. A couple days ago I went and picked up 12 books that I had placed on hold. I'm crazy!! ;)
See ya!!

I'm trying to recall the last day of 6th grade for me and your mom... It was a long time ago. I remember the last day of the 8th grade.. we hung out and listened to AC/DC (ha ha ha) songs around school.

The first day of 9th grade was the first day I ever kissed a boy. It was spin the bottle... hmm. You should have your mom tell you about it. She was there, but she probably doesn't remember. I seem to recall that she had kissed a boy prior to that one game...
